Naphcon-A Eye Drops, also know as Opcon-A, combines an antihistamine and a decongestant to provide effective and comfortable relief from the symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis, including watery, red and itchy eyes.
Active Ingredients
Naphazoline Hydrochloride 0.25mg/ml, Pheniramine Maleate 3mg/ml.
Inactive Ingredients
Benzalkonium Chloride.
Dosage:
Adults - Instil 1 or 2 drops in the affected eyes up to 4 times daily, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. For use in the eyes only. Eye Drops are not to be used by children under 12 years of age, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
Warnings and Cautions:
For temporary relief only, do not use for longer than 5 consecutive days. To avoid contamination, do not touch tip of container to any surface. If you experience eye pain, changes in vision, continued redness or irritation of the eye or if the conditions worsens, discontinue use and consult a doctor. If you have glaucoma do not use this product except under the advice and supervision of a doctor. Do not use while wearing contact lenses. Keep drops in a cool, dry place. Store below 30 degrees Celsius. Protect from direct sunlight.
Record the day bottle was opened and discard four weeks after it was opened or if solution becomes cloudy or changes colour.
