Hi, You're receiving this email because {name} thinks the Epaderm Cream would interest you.

Epaderm Cream is a 2-in-1 emollient and skin cleanser manufactured from clinically proven ingredients.

  • • Contains glycerine for increased and longer-lasting hydration
  • • Free from perfume, colouring, steroids and SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate)
  • • Suitable for all ages, including babies.
  • For eczema, psoriasis and other dry skin conditions

2- or 3-in-1 emollients mean fewer products are used. This can be more cost-effective, simplify treatment routines and help reduce the risk of skin reactions.

AS AN EMOLLIENT: Apply liberally to the affected area and massage into the skin in the direction of any hair. Re-apply during the day as required.
AS A SKIN CLEANSER: Use as required when washing or in the shower. After washing or bathing, gently pat the skin dry with a soft clean towel.

How Epaderm Cream works

Epaderm Cream is an emollient specifically for sufferers of dry skin conditions. Epaderm Cream offers 2 in 1 relief as it can be used on the skin or as a skin cleanser. Epaderm Cream creates a barrier which aids moisture retention within the skin. It is highly versatile.

When caring for dry skin conditions, it is vital to ensure that moisturisation is carried out wherever possible. However, it is equally important that no soaps or products containing detergents are used as they will increase water loss from the skin. Using Epaderm Cream as a skin cleanser ensures that dry skin can be properly washed, without losing additional moisture or having to deal with the problems that common soap additives might produce. Dispense a small amount onto your hand, lather under warm water and then use as a normal soap.

NICE guidelines for emollient use

NICE recommends that emollients should form the basis of atopic eczema management and should always be used, even when the atopic eczema is clear. Children usually require 250g per week, and children over 10 years of age and adults usually require 600g per week for application to the whole body.
