Solgar® Botanical Female Complex is a unique formulation that combines traditional botanicals with plant extracts to support female health.

Menopausal symptoms are very common and can be an extremely debilitating part of a woman’s life. Solgar Botanical Female Complex combines the synergy of traditional botanicals with plant extracts and wholefoods to help support female menopausal health.

Solgar® Botanical Female Complex provides a synergistic blend of traditional botanicals and wholefood extracts to provide systemic support for female menopausal health.

  • - Red Clover (Trifolium pratense): Phytoestrogenic isoflavones found in red clover have been found to support healthy blood lipid profiles and are recommended to support temperature balance.
  • - Sage Leaf (Salvia officinalis): Historically used to support temperature balance and sweating.
  • - Lifenol® Hops (Humulus lupulus): Lifenol® is a specific female hop cone extract, standardised for prenylflavonoids, including 8-prenylnaringenin (8-PN). 8-PN is recognized for its potency and ability to support temperature balance.
  • - Turmeric (Curcuma longa)
  • - Dandelion Leaf (Taraxacum officinale): Dandelions contain sesquiterpene lactones, phytochemical compounds that are unique to this plant.
  • - Schisandra Berry (Schisandra chinensis): Schisandra berry, has been used in Traditional Chinese Practice for hundreds of years. Its name is derived from ancient Greek schisis meaning “crevice” or “split”.

This formula also includes grape seed extract, Montmorency cherry, kelp, broccoli, liquorice, flaxseed, and beetroot. These synergistic wholefoods provide supportive phytonutrients.

RECOMMENDED DOSE One (1) vegetable capsule daily, preferably at mealtimes or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Sage Leaf Extract 4:1 (Salvia officinalis) (equivalent to 400 mg of leaf) 100 mg
Hops Extract (Lifenol®) (Humulus lupulus) (flower) (providing 100 μg 8-prenylnaringenin) 85 mg
Base Blend 50 mg

Kelp [Ascophyllum nodosum] [whole plant], Beetroot Extract)  
Flaxseed Powder 50 mg Liquorice Root Extract 5:1 (Glycyrrhiza glabra) (equivalent to 250 mg of root) 50 mg
Broccoli Powder (flower and stalk) 50 mg
Turmeric Extract 10:1 (Curcuma longa) (equivalent to 500 mg of root) 50 mg
Dandelion Extract 4:1 (Taraxacum officinale) (equivalent to 200 mg of leaf) 50 mg
Grape Seed Extract (providing 23.75 mg [95%] polyphenols) 25 mg
Schisandra Berry Extract 5:1 (Schisandra chinensis) (equivalent to 125 mg of berry) 25 mg
